IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. That's not the point Doggie. The only reason I didn't comment before was there was no real discussion on the subject you started. STC have asked for a 7.5 tonne limit (except for access) many times. The last time was when Kirkgate was dug up for gas repairs and a one way system was imposed for traffic under 7.5 tonne. This worked quite well apart from the busses and large delivery vehicles going to the coop. During the time the HGV ban was in place there were not a single complaint from any haulage companies BUT still Bradford lifted the ban when the gas works finished. x-ref www.silsden.net/forum/philboard_read.asp?id=6664 ...and remember this in 2009? www.silsden.net/forum/philboard_read.asp?id=1335 ![]() |
