MAJOR GAS REPAIRS THIS SUMMER Northern Gas Networks are holding a Community Forum, in the form of a ‘drop in’ on Thursday 10th July at Silsden Methodist Church, doors open at 17.00pm until 19.00pm They will start in August and run for approx 4 weeks. The pipe along the middle of Kirkgate requires replacing urgently and therefore this is a priority project. A one way diversion will be put in place for the whole of the time, no traffic lights will be used, possibly bringing in a temporary crossing to make it safer to cross during the works. A public information evening has been arranged and all those businesses and private properties that will be affect, will be personally written to and also a face to face visit. Northern Gas Networks are holding a Community Forum, in the form of a ‘drop in’ on Thursday 10th July at Silsden Methodist Church, doors open at 17.00pm until 19.00pm. Representatives from NGN will be present including Customer Operations Area Manager Ian Cunningham to inform the community about the upcoming mains replacement works on Kirkgate and what these will mean to the community. |
