that looks pretty major. 16 weeks takes us into November. makes you wonder why that particular culvert has been singled out for replacement, presumably all the others that run through silsden are of a similar age & state of repair? i know they did the one on bradley road green a couple of years ago - maybe the improved flow through that one has put pressure on the ones down stream? i remember talking to one of the workmen on the bradley road works & he said that the owners of the houses that were converted from the old picture house had a covenant on their deeds stating that they were liable for any works on the culvert under their properties & that this could run into tens of thousands of pounds |

I would like to thank the contractors for carrying out the bridge repairs on time and managing to keeping the traffic moving. A well managed project from what I have seen. Just the culvert to do now but if the other repairs are anything to go by all should be fine. |

hope they put ALL the gullys back in place when theyve finished unlike the bridge near the coop. saying weve cleaned the blocked one opposite is not good enough. we need all gullies to work in light of the recent weather; |
