How about a marina down Sykes Lane!!! The builders who intend to build over one hundred houses along with the British Waterways could build us something to bring tourists into Silsden Shops round all three sides with affordable apartments above. Wouldn't that be nice!! |

That idea is far too sensible. Much quicker to build a few boxes and so create more traffic when the residents have to work in Leeds and Bradford. Wasn't one of the incentives put forward to live in those houses going to be a free rail pass? Build affordable houses and provide jobs for people to work locally, much too sensible an idea! |

Plans for a development with a marina, shops, bungalows and a pub were past years ago, then when the builder started the development he kept putting in minor amendments which Bradford council past without a second thought, and what did we in Silsden end up with? Lego land, a right blot on our landscape! Don't trust anybody when it comes to him or her making a profit. |
