This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

The leak starts between Dale View and Banklands IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. Expect long delays when it gets fixed. sad :(

The water leak on Bolton road has now been stopped BUT THIS IS ONLY A TEMPORARY FIX because of the holiday period. Expect delays for some time. A car slid into the barrier around one of the holes yesterday so be careful.

Silsden gets traffic lights and a chicane on Bolton Road and Leanne's car becomes an icicle. happy :)

Leanne's car

Traffic lights and negogiating the chicane on Bolton Road

DRIVE CAREFULLY (and avoid Bolton Road if you can)

I do apologise that my car is causing you hassle, but unfortunately it was parked there when there was no space to park outside my house and by the time I came to move it, it has frozen up and I wasn't able to get into it. I'm sorry you didn't feel you could approach me in person to voice your concern and had to use this forum to do so.

Its a bit like kids texting one another while sat in the same room.
With all this technology available, we are losing the art of communication and turning into morons.
