The Silsden Gala Committee is proud to present this year's choosing of the Gala Queen, however, this year we have a little twist and are hoping to have a Gala King too! On Saturday 7 May from 9.30am until 12.30pm we will be hosting a family event with lots of fun things for all to do, inluding a Penalty Shoot Out, Facepainting, Hair Braiding, F1 Racing competition, Bricks4kids and much much more..... THE MAIN EVENT The choosing of the Gala King & Queen with our judges this year being:- Mayor Peter Robinson Sara Reece - Local Resident & Childminder, Business Owner Jamie Cunningham - Local Resident & Silsden AFC coach Wendy Clarkson Stazicker - Local Resident Refreshments will be available including cakes from CRUMBS, our new cafe on Briggate. Raffle with some fantastic prizes up for grabs kindly donated by: Thornton Hall Park Dragons Den Keighley Worth Valley Railway and from our local businesses: Picture Perfect Photography The Punch Bowl The Counting House Faith Fine & Dandy Crumbs FREE ENTRY FOR ALL!!!!!!!! So come along and support your Community Gala and enjoy a few hours of family fun. |

silsden gala---It's a good job there is someone keeping a check on it, i've asked them more times than i can remember. i don't think they care as none of the equipment is theirs. by the way did you check for cats before you locked up? |
