Hi I own the new stables on brown bank lane just before you turn onto fishbeck. The ones with the mare and foal in field. I am appealing yo anyone who may have walked past on monday or tuesday. Did you notice anything strange maybe a strange van or car (my own car is the blue/silver L200 with all the lights). On monday afternoon after lunchtime some nice person sliced open all 50 bales of my haylage which is criminal damage and may mean I cant feed my horses over winter. Please if you did see anything get in touch; anyone on top of the bales or parked in the gateway, anything at all would be helpful. The bales have been cut in such a way that this person was not just a mindless vandal and I am very worried about the safety of my horses. Thanks for looking.

Hi,
I have a caravan on Brown Bank Caravan Park and although I don't walk up or down the lane, I know that others on the site do. Try having a word with Tim, the owner of the site, he may let you put some notices up around the site. I think the best place to put notices is the bin areas as everyone has to use them. Someone driving past may have noticed something that may help you.
Good luck.
Sue

Hi,
Spoke to my daughter about what had happened at your stables, she says that she passed on her way down to the village on Tuesday just before 1pm and there was a Land Rover parked there. She thinks it was blue, but can't be certain. When she returned from the Co-op at about 1.15pm it was still there.
Regards,
Sue
