Well, there were police there yesterday when I got back from work at 5.30. So Friday 13th did not seem to bode well for them. Today, not open at the usual time...Ready for a Jet makeover ? |

I wonder if they got robbed, bearing in mind they have a sign up saying cash only? |

They reopened later today..Still have the "cash only" sign so must have been ok with whatever happened yesterday! |

The owner has received a deposit from the new buyer… Then took the unwise decision of cancelling things such as milk delivery, papers, snacks. Also bigger mistakes such as cancelling the fuel hence the removal of Shell signage. Also cancelled phone line so unable to take card payments, hence cash only…. The problem now is they are not able to contact the intended purchaser. This is starting to look like a scam where the seller will end up with a worthless business and someone else will miraculously turn up to take it off their hands for pittance. |
