I bought a Tom Tom One Sat Nav system a couple of years ago. It came with the car charger, cradle and carry case. There is a USB card in it, which I am guessing is the original. It is a brilliant piece of kit, but it needs updating. It is frustrating when you are trying to find streets it thinks don't exist. Does anyone know how to upgrade the map, without a USB cable for the unit? The Tom Tom website quotes £14 for their updates. Does that sound reasonable? Could I take the unit/card into a shop and have it done. At this moment in time, I have no plans to drive in Europe, so I only need the British Isles. |

You can pick up a USB cable for less than £3 on Amazon (or eBay, as previously mentioned). £14 for the official update seems pretty reasonable. |
