IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter do you know how many read the pages from the U.K and if so Where from. |
|
| Peter |
11.38% from USA/UK and 9.47% from United Kingdom Well that's the percentage from those visitors which use .com or .co.uk but I can't see where in the country visitors are from. The list of countries (above)shows visitors countries in order of silsden.net popularity. |

I just look at the stats for the site, but on the subject of EDF Energy you should put your details in this page www.edfenergy.com/psc/edf-energy/showAddressLookup.do ![]() |

Do any ex-Silsdener miss the town and want to raise a topic. Or is there a ex-Silsdener who will be willing to pay for CTV cameras to keep the village as they may remeber it free from vandals and trouble makers |
|
| Big G |
As an exsilsdener, I often pop to this site to keep an eye on whats going on, I live down crapy south, 40 miles northwest of London, often wish I was back.... |

So do tell us 'clogger', where is this wonderful place that youy've gone. Please enlighten us all. |

the comment from "chaz" about Snells needs some comment. The houses they build are very good quality, good value, and you get a friendly personal family service from them, sadly lacking elsewhere these days. No, I am not related to them, just that we bought one of their houses in Silsden, and we're glad we did. |

I grew up in Silsden, most of the family are still in or around that area, I moved to the west coast of the US in late 88. I have been back about 7 times to visit since then, great to see old faces and get my fill of fish and chips. Not a lot seems to have changed in the past twenty years, and you do notice what a Solid small town community Silsden is. I can see the attraction and why many do spend their entire life there, for me! moving to the US was the best thing I ever did, still a grand place to visit Silsden, and tha dun't find better folk anywere. |
