Bradford Council are still sending out this newsletter which includes items on how we can all reduce waste.Fair enough but they are sending it to many homes in North Yorkshire.People in Cross Hills dont need a Bradford Council newsletter people there just bin it. Never mind the waste in printing and transporting the paper Bradford Council tell me its ok to send it to neighbouring council areas BECAUSE ITS CHEAPER.They use Royal Mail and its cheaper to send to all BD20 postal address's(inc Cross Hills Sutton etc). |

It is quite ironic that it includes a section on reducing waste. As it gets sent to all households in the bradford area and beyond it makes you wonder how many of them are recycled by the people who read them and how many end up in the general waste and go to the landfill. Wouldn't it be more sensiblke that if you wanted a copy you could collect them from town halls, post offices, community centres, libraries and such. Instead of just handing them out to everyone. |
