Can anyone help? Today two children aged 9 and 13 were out riding their ponies a car came toward them at high speed. They politely asked the driver to slow down the drivers reaction was to drive flat out toward them at about 60 miles per hour. Luckily they had two adults walking with them one moved into the road and asked him again to slow down so he drove right at them instead. Unfortunately he was driving too fast to get the full number. This is the third incident with this man and I think after today I have to report him to the police it is a purple peugeot I think an old M reg on Brown Bank Lane. Anyone know where I can find him??

I would get in touch with the Neighbourhood Policing Team, you can email them via the WY police website. I had an awful incident in Ilkley a few weeks ago and passed on details of the vehicle involved, within a few hours they had emailed me back with details that they intended to go speak to the driver and then with 48 hours they had emailed back to say they had visited the owner of the car and given him the hard word. I was able to provide them with the make, model, colour, reg number of the vehicle and a description of the driver so it may not be quite as quick for them to track your driver down but I think it is worth reporting.

If this prat is the same one who has had this LHD Lancia Integrale for a good few years now I have seen this character drive dangerously too. He nearly killed himself trying to overtake four cars simultaneously approaching Robin Hood and met a Tesco delivery van coming around a corner at him. He needs stopping.

thats the one i'm thinking of Loafer. I followed him home one night & gave him a verbal after he overtook me like an idiot coming down the hill on robin hood. Seems to think he's invincible & he couldn't understand why i was upset, in fact it was my fault for not knowing how wide my car is. Even threatened to call the police because i was harrasing him. i offered to stay while he called them... he didn't

If it is indeed the same guy I know that worried parents at East Morton school made the police aware of him and his antics. This was informal though as the officer (traffic) was himself the parent of a pupil.

There appears to be enough of you who believe you know who this man is, somebody go get the reg number of his car and his address and report him to the neighbourhood police, has already said they will ADVISE him!

Thanks for all your help I will go to craven drive tomorrow I will recognise the car and driver. I will email the police as suggested and tell them to have a look at this forum. If anyone else has problems with him then also report him. He needs stopping before he kills someone.

if it is he needs to drive safer lets face it italian cars from that period were rust buckets and bits fell off them for fun plus if its a delta HF Integrale its efectively an 80's rally car

top end where craven drive & craven ave meet at the T-juction. he usually parks it right outside the front of the house off the road

& yes, its a proper left-hooker HF Integrale. Bloody nice car as it goes, shame he think's he's an 80s rally driver but without the skills to go with it

How can you say he doesn't have the skills of an 80's rally driver, to overtake on robin hood down the hill takes some skill without crashing. I think what you meant to say is he doesn't have any knowledge of the highway code, or drive safely.

fair enough wink ;) the main problem is that he has no regard for any other road users

Interesting first post....Anyhow, he got away with the most dangerous of the incidents which I personally have witnessed not by his own 'skill' but because the other driver was able to give him enough room to get out of trouble.
