"I have always believed that public transport should be heavily subsidised, especially in these days of alleged global warming wink  "I think that global warming is an accepted fact. What is in dispute is whether it is part of the natural cycle or being helped along by pollution. Personally I suspect a bit of both. Also it is a good idea to reduce the stuff we put into the atmosphere, which is why I am a pro-nuclear green. Same as Professor James Lovelace the originator of the Gaia concept. |

Believe it is not happening - which I find difficult as I remember real cold winters with lots of snow twenty something years ago, or it a natural rather than man made phenomena? I have only lived around here for 15 years and never had to dig the road out for the car. Where we lived in Morley there was a time in the late 70s early 80s when this was a regular annual occurence. If the changes have been the same in this part of the world then something is happening. |
