This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

I love Silsden for such things as this, I have spent many a morning herding them back onto the pavement on Keighley Road and Kirkgate, it is quite amusing to see the traffic stopped for one or two little creatures.

Counted eight ducklings with Mummy duck at lunch time today, as you go over the beck (past the post office), they are on the right hand side. So cute! Little ones loved them!

Talking of the canal! Does anyone know who owns the last allotment next to the canal towards Skipton? If they do could they tell them to stop putting their grass cuttings into the canal as this is illegal!!

Put them on their compost heap like every other law abiding citizen!
