IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-19635544 What a good idea putting the whole layout of Camp Bastion on the B.B.C. website, an ideal reference for terrorists intent on blowing it up. Brilliant. (Explanation to avoid backlash:- Irony is being used in this criticism of the B.B.C.) |

it does say that it is not an actual plan of the site. the BBC wouldn't be that dumb. see the 'Note:' in italics directly above the picture. |

Perhaps not, but with all goings on at the Beeb at present, don't count on it. |

If one goes to the BBC site it says source MOD! Also the picture posted looks like the sort that those working there get to find there away around. Obviously it is expected that the 'enemy' would have a copy. Also it shows a very large area, see the overlay of Reading, and I reckon, as someone else suggested it is not exactly to scale. The two runways look a bit small. As for knocking the BBC about JS. He was ever an exclusive BBC employee - he worked all over in the industry. I reckon at the time the whole media probably knew about JSs activities. Also, if the media knew then the politicians knew as well. |
