My cat has been missing since monday night 6th February - not been home since which is not like her at all - she's usually out duing the night and then on my bed all day!! I have posted some flyers around town on lamposts and in shops etc, but thought worth a try posting on here as well. She's approx two and half years old, black and white (mainly black on her back, all black tail, white under belly, with one all white leg). We live in The Mallards area of Silsden, but guess she could be anywhere in the town?? She's very friendly, so would be able to approach her fine, she doesn't wear a collar as she's micro-chipped. Any info at all would be much appreciated - waiting/hoping for her to turn up is awful. Contact John/Candie on 07711 626790. Thanks very much indeed. XX |

Hi 'Michelle' - thanks for helping to try and find our missing cat. I will contact rescue sites as you suggest. She is micro-chipped, and I have checked with Petlog that our details are up to date, so hopefully someone out there will find her and she can come home. Thanks again, Candie. x |

Just to update - we have found Panda, unfortunately dead in the canal a little bit away from where we live. Poor little thing was frozen solid, probably been in there since Monday night when she went missing, but not been able to see her until now when the canal has thawed out a bit. At least we have found her and brought her home, and we can bury her. She was a gorgeous little thing, and so affectionate and good natured.
 GOD BLESS. xXx |

I am so sorry to hear about your cat, it is heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet, I am glad at least that you know what happened, not much consolation I know. |

So very sorry to hear of your loss, and in such awful circumstances. At least you did find her and know what happened. Just awful. Thinking of you. |

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. I was so upset this morning when my husband came home after finding her in the canal, but as the day has gone on I have been comforted by the fact that we did find her, and we can now bury her. God bless her little paws. xXx. |

Thanks to those above who have expressed their sadness at the loss of our cat. They do become one of the family and so it is very upsetting when something happens to them - especially when so suddenly and unexpected. Our first cat lived to be 20 years old, yes 20 !!, whereas Panda was only 2 and a half. Anyway, its a couple of weeks on now and we are all feeling much better. Xx |
