Whoopie, let's hope that folks have taken the hint. Like you, I'm sure it's the good weather, they are frightened to be seen. We can but live in hopes.
Went down Maurice Jacksons early doors this morning, some bright spark had let their large dog poo in the sty hole, talk about an obstacle course, too old now for doing the splits!!!

If it's anything like the canal bank it will have been bagged up and shoved in holes in walls or left hanging from bushes

Dogcatcher, it happens every summer, the light nights make it easier for the foul people to be seen leaving their dog's mess behind, sadly come the darker nights it will all be back again!

I noticed other day right In front of carpet shop on corner some one with what seemed a very large dog had let it mess right in shop door way!!!! Some extremely dirty people about!!!

Why do certain dog owners go to the trouble of picking up their dogs mess ‘only’ to hang in trees or leave on walls????????

I’m not advocating it – but it would be better to leave it, then at least it would (eventually) wash away.

BBC News online state that Richmondshire County Council are trialling labelling dog fouling for a prescribed two or three days, in order to shame the offenders.

I woe very much like to see that happen in the park!

Interesting article in the Ilkley Gazette. Leeds City Council are trialling "new wardens" in Aireborough and Wharfedale. www.ilkleygazette.co.uk/news/news_local/10378579.New_wardens_to_tackle_littering_and_dog_mess/
