Hi,

I am looking to either join a band or start a new one up, I'm aged 40 and into tons of music, although I'd say Indie Rock sound would describe the other bands I have been in up to now.

It's a casual thing, just playing music for fun with a view to writing original stuff, but I'm not ruling covers out - maybe the odd gig and rehearse every week or so.

Anyone interested ? give me a shout,

Ta

the offers are getting better!, good point I forgot to mention 'ideally have own gear'. In a highly likely scenario where someone demands we perform a late 80's hair metal tune by motley crue, it's essential you can rotate with your drum kit 360 degrees whilst sporting a cheeky grin, is that possible ?

hmm..a misson from God, never thought about that avenue - good suggestion. Does that mean the band would now have to incorporate harps and bugles and celestial close harmony singing? It's all getting a bit ambitious for me I'm afraid, and I'm not sure if all that lot would fit in the Kings Arms.happy :)

Now if the mission was for a group of middle aged people mustering up enough energy to load up amps without their knees locking, and play a blistering indierock set while ensuring they are back in bed before 11.30pm, then I'm in happy :)
