just been looking at agenda for silsden town council meeting 6th september, item 8 talks about looking at response from city solicitors regarding what action to take against cllrs Mallinson and Kelly, what is this all about? |

presumably no one knows what this is about then? or if they do is it a secret? I will hazard a guess, is it to do with the ward councillors saying that they will no longer attend silsden town council meetings? |

well then aflac99....why not tell us all what it is....the whole of Silsden cannot attend meetings? A bit of open democracy might help? |

what a typical response, how on earth do you expect everyone to come to your meetings, for a start there would not be enough room and on the occasions when I have been it is has been fairly clear that the public are not really wanted. I just think that the council should be a bit more open, the agendas don't really say much and then you have to wait a month to see the minutes which also don't say much!also not everyone has access to computers to read the minutes etc. |
