It is very pleasing to see the numbers attending our service; increasing year on year, especially the youngsters who come alone. I would like to suggest the leaders of this service should look into the possibility of getting some form of P.A. System for themselves, at times; especially when traffic passes by; it was difficult to hear what was being said. |

I'd agree 'grandad'.
But I'd also like to see a bit more organisation back. Such all those who are going to lay the wreaths lined up and the scouts etc with the flags either side of the steps like they used to be.
Just a little thing but I think it would show respect for what has been done for us by past generations. |

Yes Alan, I had noticed the procedure seemed a bit hit and miss on Sunday, We do have to realise the extra work that will have to be put in by the organisers to get it just right, and I am sure most of them already have enough to do. |

maybe the traffic should be halted for a while,it would help to remind people about why people have gathered at that time and in that place. Although when you see that traffic wardens in Halifax were issuing parking tickets on Sunday to people who were "remembering", and at exactly 11am as well, then maybe it says it all. If it had been me issued with a ticket, I'd have gone to jail rather than pay it. Our war dead relatives will be turning in their graves. |
