Midway is correct. The names of the councillors attending meetings is documented on the minutes of the meeting. The number of "members of the public" attending the meeting is given as the number, again documented on the minutes. www.silsden.net/town_council/index.htm |

it seems strange, that we can't see at a glance, how many Town Council meetings, the Town Councillors have attended. Year end reports (of most elected bodies) generally provided such information (so that you know, that whom you elected, are fulling their election promises, and at the very least attending the meetings for which they were elected to attended ) Perhaps the current Lord Mayor may want to take note, & provided this information in the Lord Mayors end of year report. |

Cars, do you really want the attendance records of our 3 elected Ward Councillors at Bradford Council meetings (who are paid to attend and represent us)? But, you asked for the attendance records of the members of Silsden Town Council (who don't attend Bradford Council meeting and are not paid). You have been given a link for the Silsden Town Council attendance records. |

Peter is correct cars the town councillors are not paid. Although they should be elected they in fact aren't since there aren't enough people willing to give their time up for free to fill the posts available. Bradford council members however are elected and do get paid. You can find the information you require by simply looking through the minutes (all 12 for the year) and work out the attendance figures of the people giving up their time for free. |

Please could you post an example link to another Town/Parish Council in our local area that gives an idea of the information you require so people can understand the format you would prefer to see such information. |
