IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. The weather forecast was for rain and warmer weather so on Saturday there was no real need for mass snow clearing as the weather was warming up. On Saturday loads of people were out snow clearing with there newly acquired snow shovels. While there was a need on sloped on the flat there was no need, as the quick melt proved. Mind you, the exercise would not have done any harm. Trust the weather forecast. It is these days generally pretty accurate for up to 48 hours and not too bad for 5 days. |
