Having a relative in hospital quite a bit recently in my opinion the food at Airedale Hospital is very low quality. Most of the meat has gone through a mincer. But according to the hospital the food is first class..

In reply to your email, the catering staff at Airedale tryed for months to get the general public on board to stop Adam Cairns selling the catering down the river at Airedale but alas no help came.
The food is now mass produced in wales frozen then brought to Airedale and regenerated in heated ovens, all the food goes in at the same time so hence dryed out most of the time and not very appealing or appetising.
So please tell me how can you expect a poorly elderly person to recover when they need over extra 800 calories and the food is this bad.
We were promised good things from Sodexo so then ask your self why as so many local schools and offices got rid of them.
We were promised by Adam Cairns and Airedale trust 5 star rolls royce service but what did we get you pay for 2 star service and you get a robin reliant.

National Insurance contributions are now so high that we should have a 5 star service in any hospital.
It should not be impossible to give patients some reasonable food, maybe if they sacked some managers who merely play around with targets they could provide it.
Seems like other hospitals have the same problem elsewhere, maybe the Health Service needs a bit of a shakeup?
