Only another £6.65 donation needed to get the Yorkshire Air Ambulance total to £700 donated through Silsden.net it would be great to see the £700 reached this weekend  |

I'll give the £6.65 Hillbilly. I give a monthly donation to this worthy cause anyway, but I don't think this bit extra will break the bank. |

Thanks to bandnwire's BIG HEART and the £10 donation just made it has pushed the Y.A.A. total over £700 something for us all to be very proud of on Silsden.net (Life is good) |

Hillbilly, Just a thought. Would it be an idea if we were to save any Aluminium cans we get; instead of putting them in the council recycling bins, then when we have enough they could all be taken in for scrap? |

Good idea grandad but we will need to get Peter fixed up with a peddle bike and trailer so he can go round collecting them on a serious note it would just cost too much in fuel to travel round collecting them for the weight ratio to value the only way to make it viable would be to have a central collection point somthing worth thinking about |

Put cans and bottles in your can recycling bin, your do have one don't you? That way they don't end up littering the streets.And I have got a bicycle which I haven't used in years, so on yer bike Hillbilly. |

Peter, I do put the cans in the recycling bin! But I thought Why give them to BMDC if the Air Ambulance can get the benefit? Hillbilly, Yes I can see your point about costs, but if they were only collected say twice a year, and everybody taking part brought them all to a central point, would that not work? |

Hillbilly, Sorry on rereading my post it was a bit ambiguous, I meant for those taking part to store them; themselves say in an old dustbin of cardboard box, then take then to a central point. I suppose some people will get a large collection sooner than others, that could cause a bit of a problem. |
