The Addingham Environment Group is holding it's Environment Weekend on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July.
This group has helped to transform the Addingham Environment and boasts a large membership from across the Addingham Community. The groups involvement ranges from litter picking to recording of wildlife (birds, butterflies, hedgehogs etc) through to moorland management to help reduce flooding and the clearing of invasive plants.
Silsden, its people, Councillors and community leaders could learn alot from attending the weekends activities. See info below which has been copied from the Groups advertising leaflet. This is a Community lead initiative run by very inspiring knowledgeable people.
