Hi Everyone. Swimstart - our local swimming pool teaching local children how to swim are having their tenth anniversary. This Saturday 2pm - 5pm in the Town Hall the famous Silly Brothers will be entertaining the kids, along with tombola, cake stall,raffle, name the snowman, hair braiding, face painting and much more.  If you'd like a ticket - they are only £2.50 a child, then please email jo admin@swimstart.org or call Jo (office hours only) on 01535 213257. If there is space on the day you can turn up too. Get your ticket to avoid disappointment. Swimstart is a charity that has helped to teach local children to swim. Even if you can't make it we would really appreciate raffle prizes, tombola prizes and cakes, which can be left in the painted furniture shop opposite the town hall on Saturday (next to Capelli's) Thank you and well done Silsden for helping! |

been to swimstarts 10th birthday in my official role, a great afternoon loads of happy facesthanks for the invitehope nobody groaned when the raffle was drawn and 1st prize went to guess who it must be my lucky weekend again many thanks and keep up the good work you should be proud of what you are achieving. |

Great day had by all at the 10th anniversary celebrations. Swimstart is such a positive part of our local community, and can take great pride that year upon year, are teaching children to be safe in water. Great to see you Chris,in your official capacity. Silsden rocks!! |
