IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Topic : Parking on the Pavement |
|
| Lizzy01 |
I'm living in Lowfield Cres, Silsden. We have two cars and park then on our drive as do a lot of our neighbours. BUT................some people insist on parking on the pavements, leaving their drives empty, people have to walk on the road around the cars because they cannot use the pavement, especially worrying when a young mother with a toddler and baby in a pushchair cannot use the pavement. It it illegal to park on the pavement, or just ignorant. |

Dig up the pavements, you know it makes sense! ... but if you don't know them or don't want to confront the owners of the cars then download and print this: www.silsden.net/forum/forumpics/DoNotPark.pdf I'm sure you will know what to do next |

I'll answer your question since no-one else has :-P It is illegal to park so as to cause an obstruction, whether to pedestrians or other vehicles. |
