Val Carrol Lab lives on North st and has lived in Silsden for about 12 years.Andrew Naylor lives on the hillside above Brunthwaite, I dont know how long he has lived there.

val will get my vote cause I am sick of naylor and all the bullshit about how great he has been for silsden? what has he ever done for me as a silsdener come on list his so called fantastic achievements for our town.

Contest for Craven ward on Bradford Council

Five candidates will be contesting the Craven ward of Bradford Council.

Among them is sitting councillor Adrian Naylor, who left the Conservatives last month after failing to win re-selection through the local party association and will now defend his seat as an Independent.

The full list of nominations is (*denotes sitting councillor):

Val Carroll, North Street, Silsden (Lab), Stuart Ebden, Harefield Close, Eastburn (Lib Dem), * Adrian Naylor, Ghyll Grange Lane, Silsden (Ind), Robert Nicholls, Chestnut Court, Shipley (Green); Andrew Rowley, Poplar Crescent, Shipley (Cons).

So Val Carrol is the only one who would walk to the shops, library or park and see what needs doing in Silsden.Andrew Naylor lives about a mile out of town and the others too far.
