Council offer St George's Day community grants Bradford Council is offering St George’s Day grants to support community events held to celebrate St George’s Day (Monday 23 April 2018) or in the week in which it falls Friday 20 to Sunday 29 April 2018. Community and cultural groups can apply for up to £300 to celebrate St George's Day. This could be a music event, a small parade, film screening, community lunch, creating buntings, flags, banners, murals or other creative displays to celebrate our national day.
