Sportsman’s Dinner on Saturday 26th October, 7.00 for 7.30 If you have never attended a Sportsman’s Dinner then this may be the one to cut your teeth on. We have booked Josh Daniels, a top comedian www.comedians.co.uk/JoshDaniels.htm and local lad, well Burnley way, Sky Sports News broadcaster Peter Smith. Peter has many stories from his interview with Brian Clough his time working with Alex Ferguson and Man Utd through to his present day working the games and breaking News for Sky Sports. Comparing his stories and the fact he is more current than the standard ex-pro who the majority have heard on several occasions should give us great insights into the backroom of footballers and clubs. Both speakers will tailor their material for a mixed audience so partners more than welcome and either single tickets or tables of 9 available to book as last year.
