Topic : loud music at the red lion |

I do apologise for any inconvenience caused due to us having a live band at the pub on Friday the 26th july we do not do this often and we don't really have loud music playing in the pub in general.the band finished playing just before midnight and yes the windows and doors were open as you can imagine there was a lot of people present and yes it was a very warm night as for the white van delivering beer yes im afraid we do have to have beer deliveries with it being a pub and yes the vans delivering have a 15 minute waiting time outside the pub at any time with the pub being on a main road they have no alternative but to park there we are not here to cause any one any aggravation and do appreciate all the good comments so please be assured this is not a regular thing and therefore you will not be hearing loud music all the time |

the prices have dissappeared from the chalk board outside does that mean prices have gone up???? |

no prices the same as always just painted the board and not got round to writing on it yet |

I had a couple of beers in the Lion today, and guess what? the price's are still low, the beer is still good, and the bar staff are still efficient and friendly, smiley even, oh aye and the place is still very clean too, only the sounds of happy customers talking together were heard today |

Everyone hopes the Lion does well. Its got off on the right foot by telling folk on here whats going on for starters. The place is miles better than before and yes I have been in! I was just defending micky finn's right to pass comment on a forum like this thats all.... Never any offence intended to the Red Lion... |
