just wondered whether anyone had tried either of the above since they reopened? I have tried to find a website for them but nothing comes up, looking for somewhere to go for a meal later this week thats good and not too expensive |

Why not try the Dog & Gun at Glusburn which has an excellent menu or the Slater's Arms in Bradley. |

thanks photoman, I have tried dog and gun a couple of times and have been very disappointed, not my sort of place. Never had a meal at slaters though, I might look into that |

I would definitey recommend the Slaters. Good food at reasonable prices, friendly hosts and nice cosy surroundings. |

Try the Grouse good quality English food been a couple times very good and i have had lots of good comments from other people |

Just had a look at the Fleece Facebook page. It contains the dreaded two words "fine dining". Oh dear. |

went to the wheatley arms instead, highly reccomended, never had a bad meal there and nice atmosphere |
