watch out around top of woodside road and skipton road, two travelllers in their 20's (travellers Mullet hair cuts) were asking for scrap and seems like there Dad (both dads and the too lads travellers acsents) in a white transit van asking to do repar work on my roof and was knocking on other doors of the street i live on!!! keep locked up!!!! |

They were driving really slow up and down Jaques Grove, Howden Road, Ings Way, Daisy Hill and surrounding roads, looking up and down everyone's drive. Just lock up everything and don't leave any tools, toys, scooters lying about |

I also saw some travellers on the waste ground next to the BT exchange, I noticed one of the huge stones have been moved. They are probably about to set up camp there. |

They are definitely here alright. Saw a new 4 wd pick up coming out if the mill at about 10 on Thursday. Mill door wide open dinner time yesterday. |

The mill door might have been open to allow Yorkshire Water to do some urgent repairs. A pipe had split and having worked in the plumbing industry for over 30 years my expert opinion would say it looked just like a saw cut in the pipe just below the main stop valve.Almost as if someone wanted to remove the last bit of brass but forgot to turn the water off.I have no idea if it was accidental or if unknown person(s) had done it. It was bad news for the bowling and football clubs who lost water for a couple of days |

Heard yesterday that a quad bike has turfed up the paddock at the football ground. Do we have a police force still in this country? |

Peter I was not saying that people should name names but if someone saw a quad bike comeing out of Sykes lane last night,and put it on hear.Then it might bring to mind that someone saw activity at the ground at a particular time and it can help the police but not name someone. |

Well they have gone and they left a right mess with rubbish and rotting food left about. They have been replaced by fairground travellers who, like the circus I bet will leave the area clean and get welcomed back in the future. |

Are the gone or just moved to another sitenearby? as I have seen a few of them today up and down Keighley Road with horses and traps with scrap metal on board. |

we had a rag and bone man with horse and cart round waterside area yesterday, he comes about once a month and says he is from keighley, it took me back to my childhood when rag and bone men came and gave you a goldfish if you gave them anything! |
