I was listening to the radio news yesterday and apparently someone has done a survey on professional drivers and found that taxi drivers are the worst!

Now ain't that just a surprise! happy :) The only surprise to me is that they were included as professionals! wink ;)

Did the survey also ask if they had passed a driving test and had insurance?

Taxi drivers are caught in 'sting'
8:46am Tuesday 9th December 2008

By Steve Wright »

Twenty taxi drivers were suspended for breaching their licence, including defective tyres and false badges, after a joint police and Council operation in Wibsey at the weekend.

And only 50 were stopped, so 40% were illegal!!! About time this was repeated all over the district!

Alan, Any driver, who is paid to drive as a job I.E. bus taxi, and train drivers, are professionals. Someone who drives in order to do another job is not a professional, I.E. van driver who uses a van just to get to or carry his tools to a job is not a professional driver.
