IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. just been in to silsden town hall and on the inner door is a large red notice with the above words on.My initial reaction was that it was to do with floods, but on enquiring in the library I was told that Bradford Council has put it there and its because of the bombings in Brussels. Not sure what to make of that, what does anyone else think, waste of money? |

Whoever is involved in mitigating risk at Bradford Council is a bit keen I think. Remember the infamous Silsden Reservoir letter probably produced by the same department. www.cravenherald.co.uk/news/11104686.Silsden_householders_warned_they_are_at_risk_of_flooding_if_reservoir_bursts/ |

What the threat levels mean Threat levels are designed to give a broad indication of the likelihood of a terrorist attack. LOW means an attack is unlikely. MODERATE means an attack is possible, but not likely SUBSTANTIAL means an attack is a strong possibility SEVERE means an attack is highly likely CRITICAL means an attack is expected imminently www.mi5.gov.uk/threat-levels |
