how the hell do the people of silsden have the cheek to complain about the police station being used as a drug den! if it will still up and running like it shud be then it wudnt of happened. not only that if it hadnt of been there it wud of been somewhere else. nobody seemed bothered wen they closed the place so why start caring now. not enuff police in silsden is what it comes down too and whos faults thats? |

The Town Council have been actively campaigning re the police presence and the station since it closed. Slowly with the new policies and the PCSO's the police prescence should improve. BUT unless a miracle happens there would seem to be little that the Town Council can do to save the police station. Perhaps our local Bradford District Councillors for Bradford should show support for the town. It is interesting to note that not one of them has attended a Town Council meeting since they were elected in May! Perhaps you would like to write to them, the chief constable, mp, and whoever to support the cause? |

Police have been looking at buildings around police station - ie. library, church and building behind police station to set up 'liason point' - don't know if this is to manned or not though. |

The reason they've been looking is for the Community Contact Point. |

Slightly missing the point, they seem to be investigating any possibilty other than the police station itself. |

That's because they are determined to sell the police station! We won't be getting a police station in Silsden of any variety. It will be a community contact point and it is now very unlikley to be in the police station despite the best efforts of the town council. |

The police station should be knocked down if people are so botherd. But the people who are using the station as a drug den wioll just go and use somewher else in Silsden. The drugs problem in Silsden will never be solved if people want 2 do drugs then they will do it! No amount of police can stop that!! |

like someone has already said the poelple who do drugs in silsden are never gunna stop no matter how many times they get arrested they will still do it so you might aswell leave them be!!! |

Bowman leaving the drug users be is not an option they are committing crimes both to fund their habit and by the fact that they are using drugs. Also they encourage younger kids to get onto the drug habit. can you tell us just what fun they get out of taking drugs? I fail to see any benefit to be had from it, and I ave seen the long term damage they do to users brains. |

its true it will never be solved the reason for this is people turn 2 drugs because silsden is sooo sh** and theres nothing else 2 do!!! |
