What with Bonapartes on the TV, Stefanoes opening and the Grouse offering excellent fayre Silsden is becoming a petite centre gastronomique. Even the take aways are good. |

Not all the takeaways are good. Georges Chinese has taken a downturn in the past year since the older generation left it in charge of the young ones. I had singapore fried rice from there about six months ago, I was sick for three days and have only just had the guts to start eatig chinese food again. The family banquet indian takeaway (for 4 people)at the new indian restaurant (the green and purple one next to crazy chef) is great (£29.70 if you go and collect). |

the takeaways of this town make it look like something off a gangsta film. what with all gthe broken windows. wonder why noone targets the fish and chip shop!!!! gud traditional british food!!! keep it up! |
