I have just been reading a leaflet handed out in Leeds regarding the gradual privatisation of the NHS. Evidently Mr Bransons Virgin Health service is running big chunks of the NHS in Devon whilst also being the owners or part owners of 350 GP practices including 30 in the Leeds area. Who owns Silsden surgery, the NHS, the doctors or someone else? Do you know??? |

I've just run a google search on it and brought their website up. There is nothing to suggest any other ownership than NHS. |

the new silsden health centre will become part of specialist investor and asset manager group Assura. Health care developer Ashley House instigated it with funding from Assura. I assume this means it has been privatised? |

it also mentions a new chemist lloyds but thats not whats on site at moment in a portacabin |
