It does say they are "phasing" it out Peter - so its going to be gradually replaced as stocks of stationary etc are used up. |

So ask Bradford the question - how much they have budgeted for the logo change. I think you will be rather shocked at the answer. That's if you ever get an answer! Maybe. I quite like the new logo. The website has been/being revamped, has a new modern look, and it's much easier to navigate. The search facility seems to work (it wasn't very good before). I'm sure they have also taken the opportunity to bury a lot inconvenient historical documents. However, it's easy and relatively cheap to change the look of a website. The rest of the logo changes will cost us. |

They haven't redesigned the civic crest:- our civic crest, originally granted in 1976. So if thats whats on it thats whats on it |

Possibly Peter - but from the wording on the statement it would seem that they are using existing stocks up rather than throwing them away - thereby minimising the costs. It does look much better than the 1980's throwback design they were using. |
