I understand that when completed the new health centre will have a pharmacy onsite, makes you wonder what effect this will have on the 2 existing chemists on the main street, it's not only supermarkets that are threatening existing businesses in Silsden |

It "business" not plural both shops on the main street are the same company, Rowlands. |

Well call me old fashioned if you will, they may be owned by the same company but to me 2 shops = 2 local businesses, or potentially 2 more empty shops |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) the one at the health centre once its got your first prescription will deliver it free and keep the repeat bit and deliver again free when its due again next month and so on, you dont av to do anything just answer the door each month to receive your prescription.  brill |

It's a great idea, but I think you'll find that Rowlands have offered this service in Silsden for quite some time. |

Have always found the staff at Rowlands to be extremely nice and helpful. Shall continue giving them our custom. |

Personally I have used mainly one chemist all my life and will continue using it as long as it is there and its Glovers/Mitchells |

i agree with you gazzer the chemist at doctors will be handy when you at doctors but as for picking up my repeat i will use the big one in the town |

I order my repeat prescriptions online and get them delivered from Mitchells,and have always had excellent service from them, so I shall just carry on as usual. |

as it says in the other post pharmacy at health centre open 7 days a week till 10pm looking after the customers not themselves  |

I find I get my prescriptions so much quicker now I'm using the one attached to the clinic.can't fault them. nice people. |
