this post has been edited 1 time(s) I'm hoping that this year does not follow the trend of many years past where Friday and Saturday nights are open air party nights for the gangs of boozed up teenagers in Silsden park. Will the Police be brave enough to challenge the problem this year and actually send officers into the park after dark, you never know they might even stumble across some offences i.e underage drinking and cannabis smoking !!!!! |

I don't know if I should make this public knowledge but the Park Rangers are being disbanded and the police have told them they will not be taking up the slack and will not be policing parks, cemeteries etc. My source for this information is a Park Ranger. |

This is not just a problem in the Park. On Sunday morning Ings Way is littered with cans of lager, vodka bottles and cider bottles. If the parents of these young drinkers know about this when their kids return home drunk, do something about it. If they don't know about it,wake up. |

and sadly not just limited to the "youths". Kirkgate on a Saturday or Sunday morning is a testament to that, piles of vomit, broken glass, fag butts, takeaway litter, etc etc - doubt that is all down to the young uns that hang out in the parks. |
