Just received AuroraWatch UK amber alert, 2015-01-07 09:26:01UT. AuroraWatchNet. Lancaster #1, England.. aurorawatch.lancs.ac.uk/ This is an amber alert which means: Amber Amber alert: possible aurora Aurora is likely to be visible from Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland. Best time towards midnight - look towards the North - of course it will be cloudy but there is always a chance! |

There has been a large solar flare and there is a possibility it may produce the Northern Lights on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. I will post if I get an alert email. |
