hot off the press from neighbourhood officer.... what out folks another sneak thief on the prowl ,h/bag keys bankcard etc stolen from house in cornwall ave monday night  keep doors locked even during the day, as lots left open with this hot weather. |

just a query with neighbourhood watch is it street by street or is the whole town covered getting asked on house insurance quotes if in neighbourhood watch area |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) its street by street usually or sometimes slightly bigger areas not sure if kly rd is covered, look at nearby lampposts to see if any yellow signs are up pumba  |

If you don’t know whether there is a neighbourhood watch active in you street, then it is a fair bet that there isn’t one, if there was the coordinator should be contacting you all with up to date information on things that are happening in the area. If you don’t have one why not set one up, contact your local Neighbourhood police team, (See this site’s home page for link). There are some conmen working the area preying on vulnerable older people offering to do work then charging extortionate prices for shoddy or next to no work done, keep an eye on your neighbours, if you think they are being targeted, ring the police on 08456060606 straight away. |

if you are with BT the 0845 numbers are now free...no, I don't work for BT, just stayed loyal to them over the years. Some of their packages are now cheaper than the opposition. We have family in Australia, and for £5 per month we get 10 hours of calls for the price each month..that's a bargain.Sorry to stray off topic. |

this post has been edited 2 time(s) pumba if u fancy setting up a local street neighbourhood watch or anyone else call the npt (neighbourhood police team)on 08456060606 or 01274475301 and ask for ilkley area as they cover silsden now, i think pcso andrew blood does this area hes the one that comes to see me and brings the silsden newsletter and any signs u want to put up and all the info u will need |
