took dogs for a walk on canal from bradley to silsden and noticed quite a few flocks of lapwings,hav,nt seen any for nearly 3 mths since they migrated so poss not late goers so must be early arrivees nearly 3 months early has anyone else noticed them,is this a sign of an early spring or not???? |

I read somewhere that the climate change greenies were claiming that birds were staying in or migrating to this country now because it's warmer.
But, apparently the real reason, the scientists found, was that more people in this country than the rest of Europe feed birds!
So get the bird feed out, Dogsbody do a good line in bird products, including fat balls |

Can't account for your mucky mind pumba!
I always put fat balls and feed out for the birds in winter, it was lovely to see the tits on the feeder outside the window today!
A fat old sparrow was too big to perch on it |

Is true gg, it was on the feeder and it was too fat to turn to get the seeds out of the holes. Had to wait till the other birds spilled some in the tray for it.
Ain't life just a bugger sometimes |
