It seems that the path that runs behind Banklands Ave' is now restricted to Allotment holders only. So the questions are, is it your intention to permanently close the path to walkers, and also stop access for neighbors whose property backs onto the path.  |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) middy the public footpath goes up the other side of the allotments the path you have marked has always been a private enterance for allotments only and house holders for maintainence,at least it was when i had an allotment there a few years back.  ps the footpath marked on the map is the one up the other side you have marked the wrong one on the photo |

Thanks doggy, ordnance survey shows a path down each side of the allotments, i don't use it much, but some people do, it is my understanding that access is now being refused for neighbors with gates onto the path. |

Shoud'ave gone to Specsavers! The footpath is on the north side of the allotments i.e. the purple line. |

PS The dotted lines shown on the map are not official footpaths, just paths that the public walk. They can build houses over the dotted lines and don't have to replace the path. The official footpaths are those shown in purple, these they would have to accommodate in any planning application. |

Right got it sorted,Paths or footpaths shown in green on OS maps are rights of way the black dotted line paths have no legal status as far as rights of way are concerned |
