IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Walking up Belton Road yesterday PM i noticed that there has been a fair amount of activity in the fields where the estate is to be built. One field, in particular, has had its top soil stripped off & elsewhere the land has been marked off with either red or white flags. Over towards the lane by Holmes's farm there is even more activity. All rather odd, i thought the application for building on this site was still pending, must be wrong!! |
