we will be putting the lights up this weekend, new lights and refurbed features extra string this year is on the block were nadines is also the bandstand will have lights thanks to the sewer rats, please any helpers 8 am sat top of town. come out and help make our town the brightest around this year. the tree and bandstand will not be litup till christmas market day as evan has agreed to do the honours  |

When Skippy says meet at the top of the town he means around the town hall or if you are unable to find us there we may be at the beck area putting the lights up there first before all the shoppers’ park. Please come to help even if you can only manage to give us a couple of hours we will make you most welcome and we don’t expect anybody to do anything which they find a problems with, there are vacancies in all departments. |

thanks to all who turned out to help today without your help we couldnt do what we do all the lights are now up and by the end of the weekend all will be lit up, the bandstand and christmas tree are going to be switched on at 4pm next sunday by evan |

Yes well said Skippy, the amount of help we are getting these day is wonderful and very much appreciated by all of us who have been doing the lights for more years than we care to admit. Everybody who joins the team says they enjoy doing it, so why not come along next time and give it a try, we don’t bite and never expect helpers to do more than they are happy with. |

Yes come along and join in the fun, we need all the help we can get. If there’s somebody out there who can see the lights they could have told me I had forgotten to turn the ones outside Nadin’s off, I have just had a call tonight to say I have left them on! DOO. |

A great big thank you to all those who came out today and help with the dismantling of this year’s display. For those who couldn't make for whatever reason, no to worry there will be another opportunely in November when we will be doing it all again, just for the pleasure it gives, especially to the children of this wonderful parish. |
