did you agree with anne cryer voting against the new anti terror laws? she has been quoted as saying "90 days -- I just think it's going too far. Very few people are held for 14 days and yet we are being asked to go against everything that I regard as our human right, which is that you should be charged quite early." she was elected to represent people like us, and i believe that the public where in support of tony blair's plan for people being held up to 90 days. i think she is not representing the views of her constituents.. what are everyone's elses views on this? |

I don't agree with the way she voted. But at least she has the courage to vote on her convictions not on party politics as the Tories did! |

the tories ruined this area, at least anne stands up for us and gets things done, tories are based on actions that matter to nobody but themselves, glad they wont be in power again. |

They ARE in power at Bradford "jimbo" and Silsden has THREE Tory district councillors! Why do we blindly vote for them every time? |

if every single person in britain was aware of politics and its history and if every person voted, the tories would be the smallest party of them all. we all know that the tories stand for sleaze, they can glamorize themselves as much as they want but we know its just a charade. they appeal to a small minority of upper class snobs that only think of themselves, unfortunatly its this minority which vote everytime, hence the bradford councillors. thatcher ruined this country and we should never forget |

Blimey something we "almost" agree on jimbo! Sadly it ain't just the upper class snobs who vote for them. I've delivered election leaflets for Ann Cryer and it's an eye-opener! |
