an on going nightmare! the company employed by bfd met, a mr feathers' outfit,have the contract for all Bradford's roadside walls in particular areas.so consequently they now have three ongoing projects,bottom of Halifax rd, top of Halifax rd,and denholme. all with the usual unreliable temporary traffic lights. at no point do i see any particular progress being made on any of them much! the denholme 'hold up' seems to be completed almost but there doesn't seem to be much impetus to complete it. but then having said that, a builder friend of mine told me he only has six staff on his books.oh by the way, as reported in the keighley news, the debacle at the bottom of keighley rd.has had the wall rebuilt in the wrong place so they now have to start again a bit further down!!! is it me? am i going mad? i know others use that route regularly.am i just paranoid at the ineptitude of big companies taking the p**s out of everyday commuters? |

Go Keighley -> long Lee -> Harding -> Cullingworth (or if you are feeling brave the short cut Long Lee to Cullingworth). Comes out at Five Flags and then you only have one set of walling traffic lights at Denholme.  |
