this post has been edited 3 time(s) Fancy looking at the space station plus all other satellites? Below is a link to a site that tells you exactly to the second when the space station and satellites pass into the sky above your location. Go to www.heavens-above.com In Home page, look at, " Configuration" and you'll see that, "Current observing site" is zero. Click on, "from database" (which is in blue, just underneath.) New page, click on “United Kingdom”. In “Search string” box, type, Silsden and click, “submit.” New page, click on,“ Silsden,” ( in blue.) Now you are back at Home page with Silsden’s co-ordinates printed. Same page, look below Satellites. Click on ISS, ( in blue) and that will take you to the times when you will be able to see, with the naked eye and of course with binos the International Space Station above Silsden. If you can't be bothered with all that, go to www.heavens-above.com/PassSummary.aspx?satid=25544&lat=53.914&lng=-1.931&loc=Silsden&alt=162&tz=GMT The lower the magnitude, the brighter it is. |
